Steps to Get Started:
  • Fill out the interest survey - the NextGen team will review and send out an application packet.
  • Application review - your Jolkona U application will be received and reviewed by the Jolkona NextGen team,
  • Initial phone call - speak with the Jolkona NextGen team to talk about your ideas for a Jolkona U chapter and answer any questions you might have.
  • Build your chapter - start recruiting a leadership team and work together to draft a strategic plan to guide your work over the next year. Once the plan is written, email it to the Jolkona NextGen team.
  • Second phone call - a member of the Jolkona NextGen team will contact you after receiving the annual plan to discuss your ideas and formally induct your campus group.
  • Plan launch event - use our "Program Planning Guide" to introduce your chapter to the world and begin turning your small change into big change!
 
Student Development
Each Jolkona U chapter will design an organization that reflects the values of its members and empower them to become active participants of the global philanthropic community.
Community Engagement
Students will collaborate with the campus community to promote awareness of global development projects through special event programming and fundraising.
Economic Impact
Through the Jolkona giving platform, students direct funds raised through special events to low-cost, high-impact projects around the world and receive feedback to let you know that what you do does matters.
