The Dago Dala Hera Nursery and Pre-school provides early education to impoverished children of ages 3-7 by offering qualified full-time teachers, uniforms, and learning materials such as textbooks and toys. Additionally, the pre-school offers a feeding program which serves breakfast and lunch to ensure the students are properly nourished. You can help by sponsoring a child's tuition, books, and meals.

The Need
The village Dago in Kenya suffers from very high HIV/AIDS prevalence resulting in a large orphaned and vulnerable population of children. In addition, the children of Dago, Kenya are missing a proper foundation in schooling due to poverty and a lack of adequate educational facility. Very few children are entering high school and many who do struggle academically. The Dago Dala Hera Nursery and Preschool aims to build a better educational foundation for the children of the Dago community and provide better opportunities for impoverished children to grow and prosper. Dago Dala Hera aims to achieve the following early learning goals: Development of personal, social, and emotional skills; Development in literacy and communication; Promote bilingualism and multicultural understanding; Develop basic mathematical/arithmetic skills; Promote healthy physical development; and to Promote creative thinking.
