Provide Chairs to School Children in Sierra Leone
In the All As One School, children are instructed in pre-school through eighth grade in the subjects of English, Math, Literature, Social Studies, Science, Arts, and Physical Education. The school employs Sierra Leonean teachers and the class sizes are small for maximum learning potential. It is exciting to watch the children, who have never been to school, learn the alphabet and begin to write their names. You can be part of the excitement by helping to provide much needed chairs for the students.

The Need
Sierra Leone has one of the world’s lowest adult literacy rates in the world at 30% (UNICEF, 2006). The war and subsequent return of refugees has put an enormous economic strain on the country that can only be overcome with increased literacy. While All As One raises funds to pay local teachers and host students, additional help to purchase chairs for its students is needed and can make a huge impact for these students.
Proof of Impact
For each chair purchased, you will receive a photo of the student receiving your chair.
