Sponsor a Tibetan Student
You can sponsor a student for a year in the Sengdruk Takse School for orphans, students from broken homes, or from underprivileged families. This sponsorship gives the student a chance to make a new life for themselves through education.
Throughout modern Tibet, many Tibetans live daily in poverty. Faced with an uphill battle to improve their circumstances, they find they can never reach their goals. Education will improve their circumstances and also serve to uplift and preserve Tibetan culture as a whole, which is in grave danger of being lost forever. Sengdruk Taktse School is currently home to nearly 300 boys and girls that are either orphans, come from broken homes, or from underprivileged families. Not only do the students study at Sengdruk Taktse School, they live there and consider it their home. Without this school, many of these students would be living as beggars or passing their days doing physical labor to help support their families.
